Dorothy Day Foundation Inc. is a Tampa, FL 501c3 nonprofit ministry, intentionally relational by design, that considers manageable and reasonable requests for assistance from Catholic Worker entities only. We assess the specific need, and your revenue generation progress to date, and prayerfully discern how, if at all, we can help with responding professionally to the request. We will give our highest consideration to requests for existing entities and requests that best demonstrate mutuality – mutual participation and sacrificial contribution, including financial – where both parties grow in relationship in achieving outcomes.

Once we have received the referral, we will schedule an interview with you. After your intake interview, and once we have verified your references, we will begin to discuss the possibilities of matching your needs with our resources, including potential referrals to other resources. The relationship with each Catholic Worker entity is confidential.

DDF is not designed to help with emergencies or crisis intervention that precludes our ability to forge a long-term, intentionally relational, mutually beneficial relationship. We will make every effort to understand your specific resource need and attempt to find solutions with your commitment and participation to lead the transformational efforts.
